Learn about your DIVORCE OPTIONS®
Central Valley Collaborative Divorce is pleased to present DIVORCE OPTIONS®, a monthly workshop designed to educate the public about the legal, financial, family, and personal issues involved in the divorce process. With the guidance of experienced professionals, workshop participants will gain an informed understanding of the divorce process.
What is a Divorce Options Workshop?
Divorce Options Workshop provides participants with vital information on the different process options available for family law matters so you can maximize your ability to make good decisions during this difficult and traumatic time. The Workshop is designed to help couples take the next step, no matter where they are in the process. It also helps to identify strategies to stay out of court, to identify the social, emotional, legal, and financial issues that are most pressing for you and your spouse.
Who should attend the workshop?
Anyone seeking formation on the different process choices available. Ideally, you would attend this workshop before you meet with a divorce/family law professonal, although you can attend at any stage in the process. If after attending the workshop, you think mediation or collaborative law would work for your family, but are unsure how to start a conversation, we highly suggest you forward the workshop information to your spouse so they can learn about these options. When both spouses attend the workshop, they have a shared foundation of information which assists with a productive and informative consultation.
